"We are writing to give you feedback and to thank you so much for our recent field trip to Cerillos Hills.
Katie did an excellent job of planning our trip. Our classes went on a trip to place that many people in Santa Fe do not go. The state park site and the leaders and speakers that Katie arranged all offered great experiential learning to enhance both our Social Studies and our Science Curriculum. We learned about the geology and formation of the area and the history of mining in the area as well.
The students also experienced being outside for the entire day, something many of them do not often experience." ~MaryBeth Sarr and Nadine Porterfield
