Carlos Gilbert Elementary is always doing something fun, and fun-draising! For the 2012-2013 school year, we met our goal of a whopping $45,000! This money will be funneled directly into stipends, K-6 grade level educational programs, and clubs and teams.
Here are a few ways we have raised money in past years to support our ongoing programs.
Indian Market & Fiesta Parking
Disneyland Vacation Raffle
Annual Indoor Yard Sale
Current and Ongoing Fundraisers
Albertson's Community Partners. Please remember to ask your check-out person to scan your community card each and every time you shop at Albertson's! A portion of your purchase comes back to the school. Last year we received $400 from the program. It's an easy way to give back to the school! If you don't have a community card, you can pick one up in the front office. http://www.albertsons.com/abs_inthecommunity/
Box Tops for Education. Clip and save Box Tops and bring them to the collection box in the lobby by the front office. CGE gets 10 cents for every Box Top we send in and that adds up! Last year we collected $500. Please remember to put your child's name and teacher on the back so they can be entered into our random drawings for small prizes. You can also take a look at the "Back to School" information and new collection sheet that kids love to decorate with Box Tops at https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6u2xmNvkj79M0FvRlgyVE5lMTg. A huge thanks to Suzanne Webb for doing such an amazing job of coordinating!
