Dear Carlos Gilbert Families,
On the morning of Wednesday, September 7, we lost a beautiful and vital member of our
Carlos Gilbert community.
Michaelann Perea was a true gem who embodied the best of humankind. Her sons, Jaden and Caleb both graduated from Carlos Gilbert; her daughter Brooke is in 5th grade. Not only was Michaelann a wonderful mom to her three children, she was an integral part of our PTK. Michaelann gave so much time and love to our school and the Santa Fe community.
The Carlos Gilbert PTK is honoring Michaelann’s memory by giving back to her three children - we are so grateful to them for inspiring her and sharing her with us.
