There are many ways to volunteer with the PTK!

All levels of participation are welcome.

If you have even a little bit of time or a talent you think would be helpful to the school, the kids, the teachers or the parents of Carlos Gilbert Elementary, we would love to hear from you. If you're just curious about what we are doing, please drop us a line or come to a meeting!

Be a Room Rep!

Room Representatives are the bread and butter of the PTK.  The Room Rep parent volunteers act as liaisons between the PTK, the teachers and the classroom parents to help with communication and planning of any special events. If you are interested in being a Room Rep, please email Liz.  A classroom can have as many room parents as want to be involved, and each classroom typically has two to three Room Reps.
